Guy Park State Historic Site - 366 W. Main Street (Route 5 West), Amsterdam, (518) 842-8200. Grounds open year round 8:30 AM- 4:30 PM. The 1766 home of Guy Johnson. A historic site with numerous exhibits and the Visitors Center for Montgomery County.
Arthur Carter Amsterdam Municipal Gold Golf Course - Van Dyke Avenue, Amsterdam, (518) 842-9731. A Robert Trent Jones designed course. 18 holes, restaurant, pro-shop. Daily greens fees, carts available.
Walter Elwood Museum - 300 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, (518) 843-5151, year round, call for hours. One of only two public school-operated museums in New York. Exhibits on life in the Mohawk Valley, with special emphasis on the activities of children.
