MAINTENANCE
Superintendent of Highways, William Weller, answered the question from the public portion of the meeting relative to the maintenance of a highway that
has been deemed unusable during the winter. It appears that he has spoken to the Town of Duanesburg Highway Superintendent to see if they are willing
to make the necessary repairs. Weller also stated that the new loader should be delivered this month and the old loader sold for $125,000. Monies from
this sale will be placed in the Highway Equipment Account to pay for the new loader. A new mowing tractor should also arrive the second week of June.

BEECHNUT AND THE PLANNING BOARD
Planning member, Leon Gray of Pattersonville Rd, referred to a recent article in The Gazette relative to the Beech Nut Plant process. He stated he would
like to see the Board of Supervisors take an active role on what happens in the County and that he places the blame on them for not helping the local
taxpayers and the employees involved in this move as well as the hiring of local contractors. Supervisor Strevy explained tat the Board had nothing to
do with the PILOT program. He further announced that the groundbreaking for BeechNut is scheduled for May 21 at 2:30 pm. He also announced that the
water supply permit had been approved. Strevy thanked the Planning Board for a great job on this project, especially the Chairman.
