Disaster Benefits Food Stamp Program - The DBFSP has special income rules and a very simple application process. It provides benefits quickly to households who would not ordinarily qualify for food stamps, but suddenly need food assistance due to the disaster situation. You can get DBFSP even if you already received an emergency food voucher from your local county, the Red Cross, or FEMA. Apply for DBFSP benefits no later than Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at the Department of Social Services.
